COLLECTION OF CULTURAL HISTORY
The collection contains furniture from Oršić palace in Gornja Bistra and paintings from Januševec manor. There are also sacral objects originating from Brdovec area. In museum’s courtyard, next to a small ethno-park there are two stone sculptures that used to decorate the alley to Laduč manor. Permanent exhibition displays photographs and descriptions of all manors in the neighbourhood: Oršić in Gornja Bistra, Jelačić’s Novi Dvori in Zaprešić, Lužnica, Januševec, and Vranyczany in Laduč. None of these manors, except Lužnica, is accessible to the public. Therefore, thein presentation within the Brdovec Museum permanent collection is of vital importance.
