Exhibition: Ida Blažičko: Sky through the leaves

The exhibition by Ida Blažičko named Sky through the leaves is a spatial installation made for the Museum Brdovec exhibition salon Vladimir Maleković. It interprets natural phenomena and processes and it is based on the word Komorebi, which is Japanese for sun beams through treetops. The installation creates a specific ambience.
Ida Blažičko (born in Zagreb, 1985) graduated sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2007. She holds a doctoral degree form the Chinese Academy of Fine arts in Hangzhou (2012). Her thesis was about sustainable public art: Re-creating urban environment. She also holds a doctoral degree from the Academy of Fine arts in Zagreb, with thesis Biomimetics in Art (2016). She made two steel sculptures for public spaces: Wind (Shanghai , 2011); Wind 2 (Hangzhou, 2012). She is a member of the Croatian Association of Visual Artists and Croatian Freelance Artists’ Association.
